| Water Polo career |
I've played water polo from the age of 12, first at high school, then competing for Ryde Water Polo Club in Sydney 1995-2000, and for the University of New South Wales Water Polo Club from 2000-2003. I've been a member of the Scottish Womens squad since moving to Scotland in 2003. I've competed in internationals against Ireland (2004) and in Ousterhout and Stockholm in 2005. I also competed for the New South Wales Royal Lifesaving Team in the Australian National Championships from 1997-2001 and in the World Interclub Lifesaving Championships in 1998 and 2000. |

Why do you play Water Polo? I love the water and have always enjoyed swimming and all other kinds of water sports. Water polo is such a good way to play an exciting and difficult sport in a team environment, it's fantastic for fitness, it's fun and it's a great way to form strong friendships with team members. The Scottish Team is incredibly dedicated and hardworking. I have so much admiration for the way the girls and the coach have set the goal of competing in the Commonwealths and against all odds and lack of funding we are going to achieve it! |
