| International coaching career |
Theo started coaching the Scottish Women's Water Polo team in March 2003. At the time, he was involved with the GB Youth team as technical consultant. When the position became vacant, he was offered the post and accepted it. The newly formed team is very much developing and looks into widening its experience. It has participated in two International tournaments as well as having played against other International teams. Coming a long way, the team has managed to transform from a struggling side into a serious competitor, preparing to test its strength at International level. The progress has been impressive and all credit must go to the players for their efforts and commitment. |
| Plans for the future |
The team's immediate aim and focus is the participation in the 2006 Commonwealth Tournament in Perth, Australia. It will be the first appearance of this team at such high level of competition. Long term, the team must establish itself at International level with further development in all aspects; structural; physical, mental and tactical. This will afford it the opportunity to compete on equal terms against traditionally stronger teams and maintain the progression rate it has demonstrated so far. |
