Scotland won their second fixture of the II Commonwealth Water Polo Championships, defeating Singapore 11-7.
Team Captain Fiona Greer said: "It was a good win to give ourselves some confidence that we can compete at this level."
Scotland made an excellent start. Lucy MacGregor won the swim-off and the first attack saw Enci Mary Kan excluded for a foul on Julia MacKay. Scotland did not convert the extra-man, but numerous chances ensued with Cathy Burns being denied by the Singapore 'Keeper, Michelle Wong.
MacKay scored after an excellent pass from MacGregor. But Singapore hit straight back. Slack marking allowed Su-Lynn Tan to score.

Jillian Connor held the ball up well at Centre Forward, allowing her team mates to drive. Greer did this to great effect, collecting the ball and shooting hard into the Singapore goal.
Greer added to her personal tally after just 22 seconds of the second period after Katie Matthews won the swim off.
Jillian Connor continued to show great perseverance in the pit only to see her backhand shot hit the bar.
Yanxiang Adelyn Yew was excluded for a foul on MacKay and Greer scored her third goal of the game.
Lynne Baird saved a penalty from Tan after Susan Johnstone's foul. Matthews then scored low into the bottom right corner.
Matthews was excluded for holding the Singaporean driver and Tan scored. Burns made a vital block and a further interception for Scotland to take a 5-2 lead at half-time.
Coach Bampouras was animated at the interval and must have inspired his team to greater things as they scored five goals in the third period.
Greer scored. Gael Logan swam across the pool, collected the ball, turned and scored and Caroline Connor scored from an extra man situation. Caroline Connor scored again, before MacGregor scored on the buzzer from the half-way line. Singapore scored through Oi Leng Lui and Tan.
Singapore came out fighting in the final period, but it was Burns who scored first for Scotland. Logan was excluded and Singapore called a time-out. Captain Valerie Loh gave Singapore some slim hope of a comeback.

Singapore scored two further goals, but Scotland held on for a well-deserved victory.
Greer added: "A lot of individuals got on the scoresheet, which was great. We just need to work on a few things and tidy them up".
